TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie 2020 moved to 1 – 4 September 2020

Utrecht, 3 March 2020 – In connection with the coronavirus, there have been intensive consultations between the organizing partners of the TechniShow, FPT-Vimag and Jaarbeurs on the upcoming edition, which will take place from 17 to 20 March 2020. For ESEF Maakindustrie same consultations took place with several stake holders.

An increasing number of exhibitors have indicated that they cannot participate in the TechniShow or ESEF Maakindustrie due to the corona virus. Either because they are part of an international organization or for individual reasons.

The organizing parties have had frequent contact with stake holders about this. It has been established that due to the cancellations, both the TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie could not offer a fully-fledged concept in the coming editions in March. That is why, after careful consideration, it has been decided that the upcoming editions of the TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie will be moved. The new date is set for Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 September 2020 in Jaarbeurs Utrecht.

For Jaarbeurs, the guidelines from the government and the RIVM about holding events are leading. On a case-by-case basis, however, it is considered whether there is a reason and possibility to relocate an exhibition or event.
